Empower a future where Every child and young thrives and their right safeguarded

Empower deprived excluded and vulnerable children to go through various stages of their life to become adults and leaders who bring positive and lasting change to their communities.

NCDP envisions a society that nurtures and develops all children to realize their maximum potential thus becoming resilient, independent and self-reliant. In partnership with ChildFund International, NCDP implements evidence based, child-centred programmes that engage children and youth, their parents and families, and the communities and systems to create holistic and community owned social change. The programmes are protective and holistic in nature; designed to respond to the developmental and protection rights and needs of children at each stage of life; from birth to early adulthood

For infants and young children aged 0 to 5 years

Programs focus on improving nutrition, health, safety and early learning experiences.

For children and young adolescents aged 6 to 14 years

Program focus on increasing learning, health, positive relationships with peers and adults, and skills for active participation in family, school and community life.

For youth aged 15 to 24 years.

Programs focus on improving employment opportunities, sexual and reproductive health; civic engagement and leadership.

OUR AREAS OF FOCUS

HEALTH

We implement programs that support nutrition, sexual abuse and gender-based violence Education, maternal and child health Education, sexual and reproductive health education, Provision of medicines and health services to families in need infectious disease prevention, and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) initiatives.

EDUCATION

Our programs help families create conditions where their youngest children can learn and grow at their fullest potential. For older children, our holistic, community-based approach ensures access to quality education in safe and inclusive environments.

Youth Livelihoods

we largely focused on youth, our approach Promote skill building, healthy relationships and civic engagement so they can participate in the decision-making that affects their lives.

Protecting Children

Strengthening community-based child protection systems, implementing programs to support psychosocial well-being and advocating for change at local level, we help children stay safe wherever they are — at home, at school and online.

Disaster Risk Reduction/Emergency Response/Climate Change

Through programs that emphasize climate adaptation and environmental care were inspiring communities on ways of reducing flood and drought experienced in our region of operations, advocating for peace among communities and support communities incase of emergency.

Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL)

NCDP implement agricultural, family orchards, poultry initiatives Education and Children supported with adequate nutrition.
